One week in Tokyo just isn’t enough… hell, one month in Tokyo just isn’t enough. The restaurant-researching obsessed person I am spent months finding everywhere I wanted to eat, but I knew (deep deep DEEP) down I wasn’t going to get to all of them. Until my next trip to Japan, I won’t be able to try these, but if you go, please try them, and PLEASE tell me how they are!
Savoy, Seirinkan, Pizza Studio Tamaki – basically any and all pizza
Shima – A5 wagyu sandos
Gyukatsu Motomura – rare gyukatsu wagyu that can be grilled over a hot plate
Sushi Dai
Sumibiyakiniku Nakahara – yakiniku spot known for wagyu katsu sando
Butagumi – pork tonkatsu
Kakiyasu – traditional sukiyaki meal in a private room
Shodai Udon – mashed potato curry udon
Menya Itto – tsukemen
Afuri Ramen – 2nd ramen restaurant to be awarded a Michelin star, yuzu ramen from a vending machine
Omoiche Yokocho (aka “Piss Alley”) – a famed alleyway for dining and drinking
Katsuzen Tonkatsu – pork tonkatsu
Honmura An – Michelin Star soba spot
Henry’s Burger – burger spot
